Back in 2018, and what feels like just yesterday, we have lunch with one of the biggest Drupal websites in Israel and a work of art. Go ahead for a quick list of the main feature which makes this site so special.
The Jerusalem Cinematheque was established in 1974 by Lia and Vim van Leer and was first housed in Agron House. The Cinematheque sees itself as a leading platform for the promotion of local cinema.
The website is an E-Commerce site along with tons of editor advanced features allowing the client to easily create meaningful and dynamic content.
To make it short, here are some of the main features which make this site unique:
- Toptix integration - A full ticket products sync along with custom UI tools for the editor. Including real-time two side sync for pricing, inventory, coupons, and more.
- Movie smart pages - Displaying data from referenced entities that can be re-use, displaying related content bases on a smart algorithm.
- Page builder - A fully custom builder that also allows picking dynamic & generic content, changing view style while keeping the data, creating content on the fly, easily generating beautiful pages and screening pages, and more.
- Search results page - Using Apache Solr API to allow the user to quickly access his best result.
- Advanced calendars - three types of calendars, all sync with Priority and with each other, display the screening schedule in a variety of ways.
- A mega menu that can easily maintain and managed.

This project was a great adventure and challenge and was definitely a huge jump for us as a team, allowing us to make the real impact we seek while working with ambitious clients.
